Horror Doesn't Mean Blood And Gore

As an avid movie fan, I was originally only a fan of horror's assuming that blood, gore and nudity was horror when it actually wasn't. For instance an excessively gory horror film would probably be Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead series.

However, horror movies were not all about blood and gore, it was about producing legitimate fear and the suggestion that something is there when there isn't anything whatsoever. For example 1942's The Cat People

Now in modern horror the basis is blood and gore or (in the case of American cinema) a butchered remake of a Japanese classic. Now there's something why do the American's feel the need to ruin Asian movies. For instance:

So why is this? Is it because they are different or is it because they are extremely desperate so they therefore have to remake good films into bad ones

Ah Black Metal, the sound of a regurgitating demon who is getting sexually assaulted by a goat is by far my favourite genre of metal. My reasons, well, as an image I seen said: "I like my coffee black, just like my metal", I enjoy atmosphere and I enjoy listening to songs that are anti-religious (I'm sorry to my friends who are religious but I enjoy it). At first I was in doubt about it, however I did pretentiously assume that Cradle Of Filth were Black Metal and I liked them. However they are not.

DVDA is one of the most under appreciated bands ever and I think people should know more about them.
They are an amazing band and have done songs for Baseketball, Orgazmo, Team America and South Park - but this is because DVDA has Trey Parker and Matt Stone in it.

The most excessively used scream known to man is The Wilhelm Scream; which is, as you already know, the most cliched scream in cinema history and has been used so many times, most notably in the Star Wars. That's all.

When you watch TV game shows at a young age you probably do not get the points where they laugh at a simple statement. HOWEVER as you grow older youm start to notice them as being sexual innuendo's or something else and here are a few.

KILL CARMINE I SAY

Gears Of War 3 is almost going to be released and I would like to discuss whether or not the new Carmine (Clayton to be precise) will die or survive.
If you are a fan of the Gears Of War series you will know that in each game, a certain character dies: Anthony Carmine in the first one and Benjamin Carmine in the second one. Both of these characters die (thankfully).

Anthony Carmine gets sniped down by a Locust in the first Gears Of War:

In Gears Of War 2, Benjamin Carmine gets shot, falls into the worms mouth and is then partly soaked in stomach acids and attacked by creatures within the worm.

Personally I think that this Carmine should die to keep this theme off the Carmine's death.

However, this is just my opinion; I would like your say in this as well.

Is Duke Nukem Forever Worth The Wait?

Now as many gamers know, Duke Nukem Forever is coming out this year (hopefully). I'm saying hopefully because there has been so many delays. It is now delayed until June instead of May. Now, I have been a fan of Duke Nukem since I was 10 and the anticipation for this game is unbearable for me. Along with the Doom series, Duke Nukem is, by far, one of my personal favourites because he is an excessively horny badass.

However, the problem for me with this game is the delays for it's actual release, this has drawn me back because (especially with newer games based on old school series) it could end up crap. Overall, It's up too you, because even if it is bad, I'm still getting it.
